September 12th update

 We heard back from the doctor's office today. Dennis's platelets are pretty low. A side effect from the Gemzar (chemo). Luckily, platelets regenerate every few days and usually come back in abundance, per the nurse. She gave us some things to watch for and head to the emergency room if needed.

Dennis will have blood work next Monday before his scheduled chemo on the 20th. If his platelet count is under 100,000 his chemo will be cancelled.
