Patience is a virtue

I wanted to post an update, even though there's no new news at this time.

Dennis was to have a video call with Dr Hayashi on Wednesday April 5th. But, with Dr Hayashi being a surgeon, he was called to some surgeries during the time slotted for the call. We are hoping to connect with him the coming week to discuss the results of the most recent CT scans that he ordered.
Dennis PCP, Dr Fallon gave us a copy of them, which was helpful and is allowing us to be able to ask specific questions after reading the conclusions.

Dennis will meet with the doctor at UCSF Medical Center on April 19th. That too will be a video call which is nice. UCSF is about 3 1/2-4 hours North of us.
There is no further tests being ordered, presently.

Right now, we are just being mindful of each day and knowing that whatever is next, will present itself in due time. : )

Our minister, Brent, is in South Africa and Zimbabwe at this time presenting God's word to many small churches in those areas. His first Sunday preaching, there were 4 baptisms and we rejoice in our new Christian family.
Dennis felt well enough to preach at our local congregation in Brent's place, and he was encouraged to do that. Our church family has been so supportive during this time, it's humbling.
In fact, all of our loved ones and friends are incredible. We feel very loved.

We went to Dennis's work last week. His supervisor gave him a gift from the teacher's and the students.
On  canvas they had painted his name and then each of the children and the teachers added their thumbprint, and their name along with their favorite food Dennis makes for them. It's adorable and if I can figure out how to add a picture of it, I will! The thumbprints are in all different colors. Dennis was very touched and he can't wait to feel better and go back!

A little longer of a post than I first anticipated. It's therapeutic for me to write it, I think.
Thank you all for your continued support. We feel all the prayers and good thoughts coming our way.

Blessings,
Sharon and Dennis
