Dear Family and Friends,
It saddens me to tell you that Dennis finished his swim upstream today. He died around 7:00 am this morning- twelve days after we were told that he had "days to weeks left." We're so thankful that the doctor was so upfront with his prognisis. It allowed our son David and his family to immediately leave Florida. They drove across country and arrived on October 30th.
Dennis declined so rapidly it's hard to realize he is gone. In his last days he was surrounded by so much love and family. It was a tribute to the man he was and all his relationships.
All of our children and Dennis's brother Tim, were with him as he passed from this life to his next.
There will be a memorial service for him on Saturday, November 18th at 10:00 am at the Los Osos church of Christ located at 2058 Los Osos Valley Road, Los Osos, CA.
If you aren't able to attend in person, the service will be live streamed. If you'd like a link to the service, please email me: sharondennisross1980@gmail.com and I'll make sure you get that link.
God Bless and thank you for following Dennis's journey.

Oh Sharon, I am so sorry for the loss of your soul mate and love of your life. He will be truly missed by many. I am so glad that he was surrounded by his loving family and that you both were able to travel and together enjoy the beauty of the outdoors so recently with your loved ones. There is truly a fog of grief that your family and faith will help you get through. You helped me during that time and please let me know if there is ever anything that I can do that can help.
